Do you like being referred to as "babe" or "hon" by another woman?

I would not like another woman referring to me as babe.  To me, that is a term of endearment between  boyfriend/girlfied, husband/wife.

Although hon doesn't bother me one bit, nor does honey, sugar, sister, giiiiiirrrrrrrrllllll, etc.

I've never heard babe being said woman to woman unless they're  in a romantic relationship but hon is fine.

Babe an emphatic no be it woman or man.  Hon is totally acceptable and is part of local culture.

I don’t mind being called hon by both men or women but I hate being called babe by both men or women.

I don't like anyone calling me baby or honey, etc.

I , personally, feel it is condescending.
