we called  them Dots !   I thought they were real pills like my mother and father took like aspirin or something !   My mom used to hide them in one of her drawers so I wouldn't eat them all at once ,   But I always found them lol !  I would bite them  off the paper as I recall.   I was very young and thought I was taking my medicine.   For what I had no idea 🤷‍♀️

does anyone remember candy necklaces , we would wear it around your necks and  bite off pieces Lol !? 😂

I don't remember them. Did they have a flavor or just sweet?

My father-in-law used to always have a pack of clove gum in his pocket and a small bottle of anointing oil in the other. He always smell good.

When the grandbabies were very young and would come over for movies, I would make popcorn and cut these circus peanuts into smaller pieces and mix them with the popcorn. So so good!

@gidgetgh

Yes, the Smarties are what we used for pills!  Those other dots were not in my memory bank.

Cigarettes candies were some of Halloween assortment.

No I do not remember those but boy did I love the candy cigarettes.  I was so grown up walking around with one of those in between my fingers.

Our local candy store still sells candy cigarettes. I am so tempted to buy them every time I go in there.
