Artificial Christmas Tree

I have to get an artificial tree this year and it seems almost all come with the prelit lights. While I think this is really convenient, in reading some rewiews for trees on the web it also sounds like it can be a real challenge when the lights go outs. Whoever puts an artificial tree up what kind do you have? Thanks!
