Plaid Pants:  Thank you for posting the article!  Very helpful for us scared-y cats who are afraid to click onto a link!  BTW, Anyone here know how to spell scaredy cats?  (If it's even a word, lol....)

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

"term used by fashion retailers to express that designs move from catwalk quickly in order to capture current fashion trends.  Fast fashion clothing collections are based on the most recent fashion trends presented at  Fashion Week in both the spring and the autumn of every year."

Well, Isaac Mizrahi is always talking about his fashions are inspired by what he sees on females in SoHo.  Fast fashion?

What do you think this means..."fast-fashion apparel?"...

"QVC is also experimenting with commissioning some fast-fashion apparel that would allow it to lean in more quickly to new trends. None of that merchandise has hit airwaves or the Web yet."

Couple of things for me after reading this article (thx for posting)...I am not in any way their average, loyal shopper.  I rarely buy anything...maybe 4 or 5 (mostly LDO) items per year...their average customer buys 22 + items!  Also, it brings home just how small a percentage of customers we forum users represent...which translates to:  they could not care less what we think LOL!

@stevieb  Thot you might be interested in this article.

@MacDUFF

if their average customer buys 22+ items a year i must be an above average customer!
