In the article pas4116 shared with us about QVC, the writer said the average QVC shopper buys 22-25 items a year. So - are you the average QVC shopper? I'm not. I buy a few more than that! ![]()

I'll have to check my order history, and get back to you! But that works out to about 2 orders a month....sounds about right, for me.

I'm less than average .
I've bought six items (so far) this year and returned two of them.

Absolutely not. I buy much less than that. That is equivalent to buying about 2 items a month!

No. I don't qualify.

Nope. 6-10 items maybe, spread throughout the year, and not expensive items either, compared to many. But I very rarely if ever return things.

i definitely buy more than that.

I am not an average shopper anymore, but back in my QVC "coma" days (1989-2000) I was the super-duper shopper! I was better than average. In fact, I was better than the average super shopper. LOL! We bought computers, appliances, clothing, jewelry, home goods, etc!
The only items I buy now are a few orders of a brand of skin care I love. I buy only the "exclusive to QVC" items they offer once in a while. All my other beauty items I can buy at any Dept store, or from the official site itself for same price, free shipping, and reward points. I get free gift cards from 3 places I shop. Returns are free and quick. QVC has to show me something I cannot get anywhere else at a great price, before I buy. It is easy now a days to do comparison shopping. Gotta love the internet!
I am still mad I ordered shoes last month. The sizing was so off. I wear a 9M. They were so huge they had to be miss marked!!. Cost me 21.00 to try these shoes, and 3 weeks of my time (shipping to me, back to QVC and refund time). 10.50 each way!! That is just too much money. Live and learn. Do I sound bitter? LOL!

I wanted to add..QVC can be a great life saver for many people. Especially if you live a ways from the stores, are disabled, don't drive. I do almost all internet shopping these days, except for groceries.Amazon is a household word here! It is just I don't shop here that much. So I can totally see people buying 24 items a year here.

I find I am buying more from QVC than the "average" shopper, but I also choose carefully and return hardly anything. And only this year did I cancel about two orders the next morning after ordering by phone the night before. (I never cancel if I have ordered directly from the computer.) I think that just goes to show that even we "careful" shoppers can get distracted by perceptions of things we think we need or desire.
