My dad's birthday was the 13th, as is my sister's.  Friday the 13th doesn't bother me at all.  But September 13th is different.  I lost my "first-born" - a furbaby - 5 years ago today,

Absolutely not.    We all know what superstitious means ... but read the dictionary definition.

Superstition definition, a belief or notion, not based on reason or knowledge, in or of the ominous significance of a particular thing, circumstance, occurrence, proceeding, or the like.

My grandmother, mother-in-law, and aunt were very superstitious about the weirdest stuff.  Drove me nuts.

I'd be a millionaire if every time my palm itched someone gave me money!

My boss (in the banking world) would call a day like today

as ”Triple Witching Day”:

1.  Friday the 13th

2.  Payday (long teller lines)

3.  Full moon

Did more stuff happen on this day?

No, but people definitely acted ‘weird’ (customer service speaking).

My divorce was final on a Friday the 13th, so I consider it a lucky day.  Was not sure at the time it was the right thing to do,  If I had stayed married it would now be 50 years and am so glad I am now with current DH.  Much better fit.

I do believe that we would have not made the 50 years together and at some point would have divorced.  The longer you wait and the older you get, the harder divorce would be.

Besides that, I would not have met DH and who knows what life would have been like.  I definitely like the way it is now.

No, I am not superstitious, but I had a miscarriage on Friday the13th, so When this day comes, I am always reminded of what could have been.

@Mindy D  Not in the least. I give no credence to superstitions. I know the history but I don't let that stuff bother me.

Not at all. I tend to lean towards the lucky #13.
