Am thinking seriously about retiring soon.....but am terrified of being on a "fixed income" and wonder if I will not go stark-raving mad if I retire....I am not interested in starting another career....DH is still working so we can't travel, etc.....I worry aout how I will cut corners and save money...my income will be about 75% of what I am making now.....if you are retired what has been the biggest adjustment for you? Is it only financial? Social? I would love some retiree perspectives. I envision myself shopping at Goodwill all the time...not because I want to but because I have to....there's a big difference.
