Re: Are you dressing up for Halloween?

I was brought up to believe Halloween was a children's thing.  Not adult.  I still believe this to be true.  Don't dress upin an outfit for Halloween.  Now, for costume parties which are year round that is a different thing as one doesn't have go be a ghoul, or dark character.

No, I just don't wear any makeup and it's really scary.  Smiley Happy

Re: Are you dressing up for Halloween?

Just wearing my same old same old like all past years, Halloween socks and some bat wings with rolling eyes on my blouse.  I guess the scariest part is the black and orange jack o lantern's do not match my outfit in any form of fashion or color.  Boooooooooo!

I don't dress up. I love Halloween for kids but I find dressing up as an adult to be a little odd.  I've never been a big fan.

Nope, not dressing up.

I'm not really a fan of halloween.

I went to the grocery store earlier and they had 2 women in there dressed up as a witch & little red riding hood singing Halloween songs. They had a vote for ----- sign beside them and they were accepting donations.

Our town does not have trick or treat at people's homes - instead they have a huge halloween parade down main street and all the businesses have candy for the kids to trick or treat. Almost everyone in town goes to it - it's fun to see everyone all dressed up and the kids are nice & safe because the street where this occurs is blocked off from traffic. We are going after dinner and will probably run into everyone we know in town. DH's cousin is an artist and all day today she is busy painting faces for the parade tonight.Every year I wear the same outfit - a prarie skirt - ruffled tiers - plaid shirt - cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. Dh always wears a pair of old dungerees , a t shirt with the cigarettes wrapped up in the sleeve, high top shoes, a leather vest, carries a wrench sticking out of his pocket and as best he can he combs his hair into a DA so he looks like a 50's tough guy.

I'll be dressing up as myself!  Even as a kid, Halloween wasn't that big a deal and now I don't really care for it at all.

Re: Are you dressing up for Halloween?

We had lunch out today and all the waitstaff were dressed up. It was fun. Our waitress had a green face and a third eye in her forehead

One of the male waiters had  a army corporals shirt tie and  jacket on , as well as some silky shorts and a paddle. He was corporal punishment

I told him for his party tonight, to go as klinger, and helped him make a few adjustments to his outfit, with a lady's hat, some dangling earrings ,and a fluffly scarf. He was delighted and promised to show me a picture ot 2 of himself
