@on the bay When I worked I was an Extrovert. I was Myers-Briggs typed multiple times in my career and each time I was typed as ENTJ.
"ENTJ is an acronym used to describe one of the sixteen personality types created by Katharine Briggs and Isabel Myers. It stands for Extraverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, Judging. ENTJ indicates a person who is energized by time spent with others (Extraverted), who focuses on ideas and concepts rather than facts and details (iNtuitive), who makes decisions based on logic and reason (Thinking) and who prefers to be planned and organized rather than spontaneous and flexible (Judging). ENTJs are sometimes referred to as Commander personalities because of their innate drive to lead others."
Now that I am retired I am an Omnivert.

I agree with what you said @BlueFinch. We all don't fit into labels.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed them and you know I did too -there have been so many interesting posts and I feel so many of us have so many similar feelings and thoughts and it is really fun to see that!

@on the bay Totally loving your posts today! Keep on rocking them. They are ALL interesting and NOT beaten to death subjects. *eyeroll* Ha.
I am an extrovert. I always want to do, see, talk, sing, shop, cook, entertain. Just everything. This pandemic is making me crazy not to do a lot of things I enjoy. I'm hopeful though to get back to all of it again soon.
I think I recharge when I sleep. However, I meditate for 15 full minutes midday. I know that helps too.

Thank you![]()
You seem like one of my daughters, though she says she is an introvert because she recharges in between all these by needing alone time.
I guess sometimes we can be a combination of many of these.

@chickenbutt If I had money for each time, I'd own QVC.

I think it depends on what day it is. Sometimes I am happy to be around people and talk and laugh etc. Other times I want to avoid people. I like one on one or small group. I hate parties and large groups. I feel I never get to really talk to anyone except for meaningless chitchat at a large gathering. After retirement you have the choice to be alone or not. It is easy after retirement to get used to being alone so maybe your personality changes somewhat...
