Are hosts being put out to pasture?

It seems Jane has taken a back seat recently. She used to be the gem girl (now it's Nancy), she was the shoe girl (now "Leah loves shoes") and her own show, Enjoyable Entertaining, is now hosted by others on the few occasions it's even on and has definitely taken a back seat to Jill's home shows. It looks like she is the latest to join the Mary Beth Roe Club for Has-Been Hosts. {#emotions_dlg.sad}

I think Lisa is being smart in developing her own lines of jewelry and clothing. She's hot now, but who knows what the next few years will hold for her. Who ever would have thought Mary Beth, the former "it" girl, would be reduced to boring "My Time" shows when she used to host all the top and premiere shows a few years ago. (Yet somehow Colleen Lopez has managed to remain on top at HSN and is around the same age as MBR and Jane.)

It also looks like the hosts must be pitching their own shows in an attempt to remain relevant. It seems Jill was one of the first and most successful at this, but others seem to be spinning their wheels in desperation. If, in fact, Wishful Dish and Jacque's undergarment show were the ideas of QVC corporate, shame on them.
