Hi, Tink -- I enjoy re-reading the Stephanie Plum books, too, just for the fun of it. My favorite exchange was once when she was working for Ranger and he handed out Kevlar vests to his group. She commented how she hated getting shot and a line or two later:

Santos grinned. “Man, you don’t like to get shot. You don’t like

to get arrested. You don’t know how to have fun at all.”

And while personally I couldn't handle a relationship with Morelli OR Ranger, I like living in Ranger's world better!

ETA-- Real Soon Now I want to re-read Sue Grafton's series in order also. Evanovich's books are more fun but Grafton's character development is deeper.

I hardly ever re-read a book, but recently I re-read Beneath a Marble Sky because it was selected by my book club. I enjoyed it even more the second time. But usually I want to read something new.

I realized today that I was re-reading a book I first read by back in 2010. It was a new kindle release and I thought it was a new publication. I should have known better than to spend that money.

Yes I'm rereader. As a kid I reread Gone With The Wind countless times. As an adult I've reread the whole Earth's Children series a few times, same with the whole Outlander series among others. I generally reread favorites either because I loved it so much I want to relive it again or because I don't have anything new that I'm dying to read. I have to be in the mood to read something specific. I can't just read a book because it's at the top of the stack. I read every day so if nothing new is drawing me in, I'll reread a favorite. I also switch between books pretty readily.
