If you're not busy you should come join us at Olive garden. We're like nearly the only people in here.

Thanks Monica but I am down on the square at my office working, or I should be working.  My DDIL keeps sending me photos of my GS watching the eclipse from his elementary school in Palestine.

OK, here in Chicago at 2:15 susn is starting to emerge.  We had, I think, about 94% eclipse so it never got really dark.  But it was a perfect day for viewing, clear, no clouds, 70, no wind.

I'm in the Pittsburgh area.  It's 3:15PM and pretty dark.  Looks more like 7:30PM.

The newscaster on ABC who is in Cleveland keeps reminding everyone not to look without special glasses, as he keeps taking off his glasses and looking at it.

No, I'm in northern New Jersey and it is just cloudy here.   It was supposed to happen around 3:06 p.m. but nothing!!!   Anyone else not seeing it? Also, is anyone else in New Jersey? Do you see it?

When in totality, you can take your glasses off. I was in the path, and though there were some clouds, they parted enough for me to see it, and it was spectacular! So grateful to have been able to experience it in person.

@newjersey  On the NY/NJ border. It's getting dark here. Had to turn some lights on.

 It was not totality yet.
