I'm hot in any temperature. Especially at night laying in one position. Night sweats anyone?
I have to pin my hair up and dress very lightly. I don't know how anyone wears silk or polyester PJs. YUK! Light breathable cotton here.

I find "real silk" to be best for temperature regulation . . . as in silk sleep sacks or silk pillowcases . .. cool and comfortable or in winter keeps you nice and cozy without the weight of blankets or down. Now satin . . . whole 'nother story. But silk is a good temp regulator or I think it is. ![]()
I had to kick up my ceiling fan a notch starting about a week ago as I like to sleep very, very cool . . . almost cold for best sleep. I think my internal thermometer clicked on last week or something . . . even in a couple of stores today I got so hot although one store when I noticed employees fanning themselves they said they were having a/c issues so at least it wasn't just me. ![]()

You know, I think you're right. I was thinking of satin.

Didn't seem all that bad to me today and I spent the best part of 3 hours working outside mowing our acreage/cleaning the mower and also taking a back tire off the mower as it keeps losing air pressure.
Temperature was in the low 90's and the humidity was 69% and it didn't bother me all that much. Guess my body is still retaining some of the memory of me working for over 30 years in a factory that year around was close to 95-100 degrees every shift. The fatigue hit me after I was done cleaning the mower and taking off a big back tire. I ain't in the shape I am used to being in during past years.

Most people have air in their homes, rush to the car for more air, out of the car and soon into more air conditioning and back into the air conditioned car. I don't see that as being so bad for many of us; I frequently think of all the people who have to work in the heat and of those of long ago who had none of these modern conveniences. Next it will be the cold. Seems like we as Americans have a lot to be thankful for compared to most of the world.

I agree lol..............but it's a crazy deal, when you've had temps over 105 for a week......101 even 104 seems a lot cooler.........PLUS.........in Cali, we have to watch our electricity usage or we'll end up with the rolling black outs again.........that won't be much fun........the stores here have rolling brown outs when the temps get high........................................raven

Oh my, I should be so lucky!
You've got to remember, our average temp in the summer is 68.
It's all relative! ![]()
