Interesting question---No I'm not happy---now, I am grateful more so than happy---I have been going thru 10 years of very, stressful, horrendous events having to do with cancer , divorce , and of course, the events the world is going thru----nothing that makes me happy---but I am grateful my family is all well and working and stable in their lives----and that I am cancer free and living comfortably------and pretty healthy---happy.....meh!!!

Hi ya,
I am not happy at the moment, my husband of 59 yrs passed away less than a month ago......friends have died off or moved away, i do believe in god but I am not a church goer....so I am also lonely....which is not conducive to being happy right now.....
that being said I had a pretty good run at things for many years and was too busy back then to stop and think if I was happy or not, so I must have been happy....I am hoping that I will perk up and find something to do that interests me and will help make me happier than I am right now
I guess happiness ebbs and flows in course of peoples lives and minds

@Hazelfaye I am so sorry for the loss of your husband and good friends. It's hard to lose loved ones and friends, you feel like you are left behind and it is incredibly lonely.

@kaydee50 That may be true but you didn't answer the thread question, just told us your philisophy.
