I am a Weight Watchers Lifetime member and have kept my weight off for over 10 years. I weighed 187 pounds, now I weigh 124-125 pounds (I'm 5'3" ). When ordering clothing from HSN, QVC, and Evine I order a size large. When the models are asked what size they are wearing, they say XXS or XS. Now I look at them and think am I so much larger than they are? I mean I'm only a smidge away from an XL. When I shop at Macy's I can wear a size 8 or 10 or a M. Shopping online does nothing for my self confidence! Does the sizing from these home shopping channels run small?

I don’t buy a lot from qvc, but when I do, I find that qvc clothing runs large. If I am a lg in department stores, I am usually a medium at qvc.

I've only bought one item of clothing from QVC, and it was one to two sizes smaller than what I buy locally.

@Jordan2  ..... CONGRATULATIONS ON THE LONG TERM WEIGHT LOSS!

Are you sure you're not wearing your clothes too big?  I'm about 5'3", and weigh between 110 and 115 at any given time.  I've only purchased tops and jackets here, and order by the garment measurements.  I'm usually an XXS.  I don't know how you're not swimming in the large.

@Jordan2  I agree with @ItsME.  I've already replied but wanted to add that I don't see how you could possibly wear a size large when you weigh 125 lbs.  I'm 5'5" and weigh 125 lbs., and the Joan Rivers blouse I bought from QVC is an XXS.  I wear an XS or S other places.

I bought from HSN Diane Gillman, (I think that's her name) leggings in a large, I don't think the medium would have been a good fit. I also bought Kate & Mallory ( I think that's the name) denim leggings from Evine also in a size large and they fit. I don't like wearing my clothes really tight ( leaving nothing to the imagination), but I don't think I wear clothing that is too big.

When I purchase clothes from QVC, I always refer to the size chart under the description of the clothes item.  Never have a problem.  Now with shoes it is a different story.  I always wear Clarks but in the last few years the width has been much narrower and I end up sending them back.  Cat Happy

I can only speak for QVC but their vanity sizes are huge.  I am at least one size larger in B&M stores.

If anything QVC clothing runs large, and I buy a lot so I know.  Posters refer to it as vanity sizing.  I also don't see how you could wear a large at 125 lbs.  By the way, congratulation on keeping the weight off.  Its not easy; takes lots of determination.

I agree and if I had to rely on them only for clothing I would be wearing rags.
