I was searching the listing of apartment homes on Criagslist in planning my retirement and moving. There are some great deals and I appreciate the thumbnail photos of various rooms and amenities. I must note that so many photos are of very messy places. The landlord or owner are posting photos with dishes in the sink, newspapers all over the place and just a very general messy feel to the listing. I would think they would either ask the current tenant to clean the place up , at least for the photo session, or wait until they move out. This is not a practice for all listings . Some look fabulous and I can see myself living there. Just observing how some owners of properties really think they are able to ask top dollar for a unit that may well be beautiful if only you could see it "cleaned up"..
