Anyone try kitty caps? Advice needed

I have questions for those who have tried this product. The new addition to my family is a little terror who likes to climb curtains,counters,leather sofa etc! She is the total opposite of our other cat who is calm and mellow, never scratches at furniture or tears around. Anyway I saw this product at petsmart and was wondering for those who have tried the product how did you get them on your cat, especially those with wiggly little monsters such as mine?
