I have vasovagal? The last 2 times I went to Disney I pasted out and had to go to ER.
Anyone else have this problem?

I had a big strong athletic sister that passed out when she got an injection. Don't think they ever labeled it.

Yes! What were you doing immediately before you passed out?
I realized that I rarely can get a shot in my arm without getting very dizzy or losing consciousness and needed a plan. The solution for me is to have the shot in a butt cheek. No dizziness.

I haven't had vasovagal issues, but have known several who have, including patients.
Having passed out twice at Disney is very telling. It may be due to the fact that it's a crowed environment, excitement is high and can be fatiguing, while staying adequately hydrated may be challenging. If the temperature is warm/hot, that can also provoke an episode. These can be big triggers, particularly coupled together.
You're definitely not alone. It's not uncommon. It's tricky to deal with, but I'm sure you've been given some steps to take to help avoid episodes. It helps if you can pinpoint what triggered your event so you can adjust plans. I'd probably stay away from Disney. Twice would be enough for me.
You also have to pay close attention to any early signs that you're in danger. If you sense an episode, lie down asap and put your feet up, no matter where you are. Safer to lie down than pass out, if you possibly can. Hang in there.

Think I'd skip that place. Problem solved.

I do not have it but 2 people close to me have it for years. In talking to many doctors about it I have learned that if you pass out there is usually a trigger. Something happens to you at Disney and is making you pass out, if that is the only place where this happened to you. The only thing you have to be aware of is you can get hurt when you pass out, not because you pass out.

That's a pretty broad term, a doctor needs to make a diagnosis. People pass out(faint)for all kinds of different reasons.
I can list over a half dozen reasons I have passed out, but it never was listed as "vasovagal".
Hematoma/Cellulitis/my 60/40BP Anaphylaxis/Hemoglobin under 7/hit to the head/Myocardial Infarction.

@hckynutjohn @It might be a broad term but it is a condition and doctors refer to it as such.

Someone very close to me has it. It's very scary!!
