Or know anyone who is going.?  2 of the GD are going with friends.  They were given some VIP passes (long story), and off they are going.  Oh to be young.  I would love to go just to see the clothes!

You won't believe this, but the GD's latched on to some fanny packs we had from the 80's.  I guess they are "in".  Good Grief, fashion is one big cycle, isn't it?  Love it!

Does anyone even know the entertainers there?

@shoekitty I'd go too if I were young.  I've watched a lot of shows about it.  I think it looks interesting.  My daughter was going to go but decided to go to Chicago to see a baseball game instead.

There's a story linked on Drudge about 30- and 40-somethings who spend thousands on liposuction and other look-young procedures, not to mention clothes, for Coachella.  One was a single mother who works as a hairdresser and spent $8K.  I wondered where she got the $$$. @shoekitty Evidentally we are the only one's who want to go!!  The problems I've been having with my knees and back I'd have to be helicoptered in and need a wheelchair!  Ha!

@Ms X Yes, I post links all of the time.  I think you can spend a lot of money or a little money.  I've seen where a bunch of people get together and share expenses and I've seen where older couples bring or rent fancy mobile homes and go first class.

My neighbor's daughter left Wednesday to go.  She's only a senior in high school.  She went with 3 other seniors.

I'd rather go to the Oscars and wear a fancy dress.

I do recognize many of the performers. Would love to go to something like this, but I think I'd have the stamina to last only a few hours. Yes, the fashion there is a big trend-starter.
