Hello everyone. We are in the peak of the wind storm now. It was pretty good up until about an hour ago. Now we are feeling it.

They have closed the road to Peggy's Cove which is close to where I live. They have also closed the road to one of our small coastal villages, same conditions. You can bet on it that there will be some crazy people trying to get on the rocks at Leggy's Cove. Happens every storm despite the fact that many have been killed there and despite the fact there are warning signs everywhere.

My neighbour and I have lost half of a large oak on one side and my other neighbour and I have lost part of a big maple. If that is all the damage Inwill be happy. It is too windy to check the property lakeside yet.

140,000 without power a couple of hours ago. We still have power. I also have a whole home generator. The storm shifted more to the Atlantic side than the Bay of Fundy so we are getting more than expected but it is a very big mass so many will feel it.

@icezeus , thank you. Amazingly we still have power. A street over power is out. Winds still rocking here and will all night. A slow moving large weather system.
