Anyone esle hear David V. at the top of the hour throw his hat in the ring to be the new Regis??

My subject line says it all... I looked at David's facebook page and there was some talk about people suggesting him to take over Regis' show -- his name made it on a local CBS affiliate survey. And he made it pretty clear this morning via his opening announcement that he wants it... I initially thought Rick should be given a chance. Do you think either one of them stand a chance?
