Day 13 of the Manhunt for Danelo Calvacante + Overnight Recap

TIMES BASED OFF TWEETS—NOT EXACT

Monday, September 11

8:12 p.m.: Pennsylvania State Police report a sighting of escaped prisoner by troopers in area of 1900 block of Fairview Road.

9:09 p.m.: Danelo Cavalcante's shoes were located. He stole a pair of boots from a nearby farm.

9:17 p.m.: The target location has shifted to Route 100 and Fairview/Prizer Road. Law enforcement agencies are converging on the area.

10:08 p.m.: A reverse 911 call has gone out advising residents near Route 100 and Fairview to shelter in place immediately.

10:33 o.m.: The green hoodie believed to belong to Danelo Cavalcante was found on the road near the front yard of a residence on Coventryville Road. Officers have been instructed not to touch the green hoodie found on Coventryville Road. No blood stains are visible on the garment, suggesting it was discarded without signs of injury.

10:57 p.m.: Law enforcement is extending the search perimeter toward Ridge Road, approximately 2.7 miles from the most recent sighting of Danelo Cavalcante.

1:01 p.m.: A local homeowner engaged in a shootout with Danelo Cavalcante, who subsequently stole a rifle from the residence. Authorities are urging extreme caution.

11:26 p.m.: Reports surfaced about a gunshot victim with 'penetrating trauma' on the 3500 block of Coventryville Road.

1:51 p.m.: An officer sustained facial burns due to an overheating car on the 3000 block of Pottstown Pike in Spring City.

Tuesday, September 12 (Day 13)

1:08 a.m.: Search efforts are now concentrated around the 3500 block of Coventryville Road. Authorities seem to be focusing their resources in this area as the manhunt continues.

1:55 a.m.: Authorities seem to have concentrated their efforts in a triangle formed by Daisy Point Road, Ridge Road, and Coventryville Road.

3:28 a.m.: Tactical teams are currently conducting a push of Daisy Point Road, Ridge Road, and Coventryville Road. Police have initiated their second K9 track. Coventryville Road has been pushed.

3:36 a.m.: The search perimeter now shifted nearby Mt Pleasant Road, concentrating between Ridge Road and Coventryville Road.

4:08 a.m.: The ATF has deployed additional K9 units, specifically bloodhounds, to aid in the search.

5:22 a.m.: School Closed—School in the Glenmoore region of Pennsylvania has been cancelled today due to the ongoing manhunt. For residents living within the search perimeter, be advised that your vehicles will be searched upon exiting the area. Remain vigilant. Report suspicious activity. If Cavalcante is spotted call 911–do not approach. He is now armed with a rifle.

6:17 a.m.: Residents in the immediate search area are advised to remain indoors once they arrive home and to secure their vehicles.

7:43 a.m.: Trailers carrying horses from the Pennsylvania State Police have arrived in the area. A press conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. this morning at Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company at 36 Firehouse Drive, Kennett Square. Lt. Col. Bivens will be providing an update on last night's developments.

7:46 a.m.: Over a dozen federal agents have just turned onto Coventryville Road from Ridge Road, intensifying the search efforts in the area.

8:00 a.m.: Six additional federal agents, along with SWAT and tactical units, have turned onto Coventryville Road from Ridge Road, adding further resources to the manhunt. Lots of sirens in the distance.

8:01 a.m.: Cops in front of perimeter are heard cocking their firearms on Coventryville Road and Ridge Road. Unsure if this is a development.

8:06 a.m.: Two more SWAT trucks have just turned onto Coventryville Road from Ridge Road, adding to the already heavy law enforcement presence.

Montgomery County SWAT is currently mobilizing, marking the largest deployment of manpower in the search so far.

Horses from the Pennsylvania State Police have now been deployed in the search.

@bonnie f  Glad it's over too.  I found it interesting that he said he was thinking of giving up but when he got that rifle then he changed his mind and planned on car-jacking a vehicle and heading to Mexico.  Good thing they got him when they did.
