Re: Anyone else uncomfortable with this term?

We all do see things differently and that was not my point to laughing at Sunshines post because Sunshines post was funny as he**. I have also seen posts were people claimed Terrier was piled on and I didn't think she was at all. I like Terrier and that girl can totally take care of herself if she was piled on.

My only point is that Sunshines post was funny.

Oh, Sunshine's post in this thread was definitely funny. I'm not disputing that.

Y'all saw what you saw and I saw what I saw... and I saw a dogpile over a couple of typos.

the typo part was us trying to point out human error can be funny.

She was complaining about diction and accents, telling everyone how much it bothered her and was quite condescending in her OP about "how much it bothered her"

and I asked her if typos bothered her, it was a joke and I stated so at the time.

Re: Anyone else uncomfortable with this term?

okay...............I don't know what happened in the thread you all are talking about but...........you can't tell someone to go.......themselves, even if you do it in print but not vocally........then get all Victorian about the use of another term.........especially when your reason for not liking the word is it implies a seckual act......HELLO, the word the OP used, or hinted to, is the ULTIMATE seckual act

soooooooooo............IF you're gonna use one, can't call foul on the other.........just own it..........I happen to use both and they don't offend me.................................raven

ETA...............OP I don't have anything against you, and I'm not trying to dogpile you..........I just call it as I see it

I don't recall you being involved in the dogpile. Only a couple of names stand out to me and yours isn't one of them. Smile

i find it strange that the OP is uncomfortable with the word she mentioned but had no problem using the term (because she could not spell it out here) "go ........ yourself" TWICE two days on another thread!{#emotions_dlg.glare}

lol! I didn't read the thread in question but this was the best comment on the thread.

I saw it. It was the standard dogpile and Hyacinth had had enough. I don't blame her, either.

Thank you. That's exactly what it was.

I posted something that was totally inocuous, not intended to OFFEND anyone, and since there are a LOT of smart people here, thought I might gain some insight.

Next thing I know I got the standard accusations of being (I'm paraphrasing) everything but a murderer.

So, if people who are here NOW want to get THIS thread removed, have at it.

Not uncomfortable with it and very seldom use it myself.
