i watched it last night and enjoyed it though I thought they jumped back & forth between Teddy and FDR some which was confusing.

I actually enjoyed it when they introduced Eleanor and how she was related to TR and FDR.

Tonight was excellent !

I'm loving Eleanor more than ever. her influence on FDR was immense. Without her there'd be no New Deal.

Does anyone have an idea why Teddy enjoyed killing so much? He started with animals & birds, which is pretty creepy.

A lot of people back then had collections of taxidermy. Birds, foxes, squirrels, butterflies under glass.

Even Martha Stewart, a big antiques collector, has cloches with stuffed birds.

It was a different mindset back then.

I am looking forward to TRs progressive reforms...that should be coming tonight.

Yes, I realize that, but he was so into it, not only killing them but doing his own taxidermy, and then enjoyed killing men during the Spanish-American war. That pattern is a red flag, as you know.

And he was a Republican, which I think is your real problem, objection, whatever.

I felt that, too. There was a lot going on in the house at the same time which was distracting and made it worse.
