Re: Anyone buying the KitchenAid TSV?

Gato, I liked the sea glass color too, and also the taupe one...not sure what the official name was?

I don't want to take the chance of getting a return, either. next year....I'll have to know about this in advance, and be ready to order while all the colors are available.

But knowing my daughter, she'll want the full-sized one and not the hand mixer. She does bake as well as my mom. These skills must skip a generation.{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

I have a Kitchen Aid mixer very similar to the TSV that my DH got me several years ago and I love it. I've really been putting it through the ringer this week, baking cookies for a Christkindl Market. Fifty dozen plus cookies so far. Today it was a cake for a family friend. I also have a KA hand mixer that I use often.

Did you really mean 50 dozen cookies!? That's awesome.

YES. That is my story and I'm sticking to it. My Mother was a great baker and great cook too. My daughter is starting to love to cook & bake & is pretty good at it too. Thankfully she is also starting to clean up after she cooks.

Guess it skipped me. I manage. But I am meringue challenged.

Thanks. Mine is boring white. LOL

I'll give my original one to my SIL. She'll love it and use it.

Yes! Our Pennsylvania town has an outdoor Christkindl Market every year and this year it will be held December 11 - 13. Our church sells trays of homemade Christmas cookies and has a goal of 1,000 dozen cookies baked by members of the church. I've baked over 50 dozen so far. The market is billed as the largest outdoor Christkindl Market in the United States. It is awesome!

Does your town begin with an M? If so we've been to the Christkindl Market and enjoyed it very much.

Re: Anyone buying the KitchenAid TSV?

I have a lovely Kitchenaid just like it. It was a gift. It is out in the garage along with the pasta attachment, sausage attachment and all of the other parts that go with it. I don't like it on the counter and it is waaaaay too heavy to just pull out to use.
