I want a few backup transportation methods and have downloaded the app.  Have you ever had an issue with a car arriving?

Have never used them, never will.  Fortunately, we have plenty of cab companies in our area.

I have used them for years once you have your ride picked up by a driver you can track them on the app, you also get a description of the type or car and color etc

I haven't personally but my son has.  He's used it for about four years.  The only time he had an issue was getting home from college on a Friday afternoon.  It would some times be a long wait for the car to arrive.

Yes, have used them many times when we travel. Always great service, pleasant drivers, arrive quickly.  Have never had a bad experience.

I used them exclusively on a trip to Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Never a problem or issue.

We were t-boned by an UBER driver and the force totaled our vehicle (SUV).  

She was texting and ran the red light.  Not much insurance either.  

I still have the injury and work through it daily.

I’ve used Lyft quite a few times, especially to and from the airport. Zero issues.

@Puzzle PieceI am sorry about your injury but that is not reflective  of the 100's of uber drivers I have had.

Does UBER provide insurance for an incident with one of their drivers, @Puzzle Piece?  I am sorry that happened to you.
