Dubai-based shoemaker Jada Dubai has debuted what it says is the world’s most expensive pair of shoes – with a whopping US$17 million (Dh62.4 million) price tag.

Dubbed Passion Diamond Shoes, this pair of high heels are made from diamonds and real gold, and they feature hundreds of diamonds, together with two imposing D-flawless diamonds of 15 carats each.

Maria Maajri, co-founder and creative director of Jada Dubai, who designed the shoes, “Jada Dubai designs only shoes with diamonds.

I'll have to pass- I'm afraid the dogs might use them as chew toys and you know what lengths would be needed to retrieve any diamonds that were swallowed. Rubber gloves and paper towels.....

Otherwise I'd haul out the old checkbook and see they had my size available.
