Anyone Have A Summer Place They Also Rent Out?

I was thinking of getting a summer home to use here and there but I need to rent it out some of the time. I thought I could go down in July for a couple weeks and then rent it during the summer season.

After that it would need to be rented from Fall to winter and beyond. It would be on Cape Cod.

Anyone rent out a place? What is it like? Does it work out well or is it a hassle. I really would love to do this. This is not s ritzy place. Just a two or three bedroom ranch is what I could get. But it be a nice one.
