@apple1964 ... I wonder if the long numbers are overseas numbers with the country code added. Who knows!

My phone service provider allows me to block ‘PRIVATE’ or ‘UNAVAILABLE’ phone calls. So that knocks out a few that try to block their number.

 

Some are ‘spoofed’ calls & some have the same first 3 digits of your number (not the area code)  thinking you might pickup & answer a local number. If possible set your answering machine to 6 rings instead of the standard 4. I notice that calls that go through only ring 4X before stopping.
