IE or Firefox will not let me do any searches, the little circle just keeps going around . It started about 45 min ago . Was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem?

No problem with IE. I have done several searches in the last hour without any issues at all.

nafecar, Firefox and IE are browsers, and they don't accomplish searches.

I suspect you mean your search engine isn't working, and my guess is you're trying Bing or Yahoo (which is powered by Bing). Both Bing and Yahoo have reported problems today.

You always have the option of using a different search engine, such as DuckDuckGo (especially if you want more privacy), Google, Dogpile, etc.

Are you trying Bing or Yahoo? If so, there's no need to wait. Just try a different search engine, nafecar.

Again, the problem with searching is not the browser, it's the search engine. (Post #4)

In a browser, (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.) you can change the preferred/default search engine whenever you want.

Or, just go directly to the search engines:

Bing was down for me a short while ago, for a few minutes. I used duckduckgo to find what I wanted, and then next time I tried, Bing was fixed. it's working now.

(I'm on a Mac using Firefox.)
