Anything after Secretariat...they're all stable mutts. Even IF they won the triple crown. Secretariat was the Michael Jordan of equine athletes....nothing after them matters.

LOL... I don't even know what a "win, place, show" or "trifecta" is.

Trifecta means picking all 3 top finishers. "Boxing" the bet means they can finish 1-2-3 in any order (easier to pick).

When I was young, my dad got me a horse from a racetrack in a claiming race. He was a not very good race horse (they had already gelded him due to his nasty temperament) but he became a great jumper.

Does anybody know the actual time Calif. Chrome's race will be run? I know the coverage will be for 2 1/2 hours but I would just like to see the actual race.
