There's nothing on TV anymore!!! The programs that are on, including most of the movies, have wayyyyyyyy too many commercials. I've always been a movie buff and am thinking of subscribing to Netflix. Anybody recommend it? TIA {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

I have been receiving Netflix video movies for several years now. I signed up for two a month at about $5.00 plus tax. They bill that to my credit card. This works well for me.

I don't do the streaming and not even sure how to do that.

I don't have a TV, but I do have subscriptions to Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. They enable me to watch both TV & movies, although not live.

But even if I could afford a replacement TV (my old one died several years ago), I can't get reception for local networks anyway, and would have to add that service to my broadband Internet & phone company.

The three options above together total much less than cable TV or FIOS. 8)

Netflix is great!! We've seen many movies that we have loved and would have never known they existed.

Perfect (and cheap) for long rerun-summer!!

I like it very much. I've been with them since '06.

Streaming Netflix is great. We also have hulu and amazon. All three are worth the money.

Netflix is fantastic!! We have a computer connected to our flat screen TV and we just watch whatever interests us. We are half way through Season 2 of Breaking Bad. DH has watched both the American and British version of House of Cards. I intend to watch the American version this summer!
