My poor cat. He's been through so much in less than a month and I think he's showing signs of depression. He's taken to sleeping in a closet (dark and quiet ??) and he's very clingy and gets anxious if he's left alone.
I feel so sorry for him and I've tried to think of what to do to help him get over this. We pet and love on him as much as he'll accept, talk to him and tell him it's all over, cuddle him, put him in bed with us (he still has a little trouble jumping up that high) and let him do whatever he needs to do for comfort. I'm at my wits end; does anyone have any ideas?
Another strange thing: I know that cats dream and when they're in that state, they can go limp, twitch, meow, vocalize etc. But it seems like this is happening to him much more than before. Could he be having nightmares? My poor baby!
