  My son is getting married next month.He just asked me to pick a song that he & I can dance to.I was thinking about Wind Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler or Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack.

I Hope You Dance was a perfect fit for me with my oldest son's mother/son dance.

Some song selections have romantic connotations for these dances.

I think Tim McGraw has  a new album out today with one of the new songs being something like "Call Mama." It's supposed to be a real pretty, sentimental song.....You could be very cutting-edge since it's brand new--and folks are speculating that it will be a big hit for Tim McGraw (i.e. "another" big hit, that is).

A Song For My Son, written by Mikki Viereck in 2008. the first song ever written for a groom & his Mother. My son picked it for our dance at his wedding.
