I have had 3 labs, and our 3rd one Charlie passed away of cancer about a month ago. We are grieving him and hubby said no dogs for a while. We are very active 67 and 72 yr olds, and I am thinking perhaps a Labradoodle med, since Labs are pretty strong. My beautician said friends have had goldendoodles and they are very active. I have been reading the sites, and breeders are saying the lab/doodles are not too active. I would appreciate any comments. We also watch our 3 yr granddaughter and a new baby on the way, so need to be kid friendly. Our granddaughter is calm and did well with our Charlie and her grams dog.
