Antique Rocking Chair question... noisy when rocking

Good morning all.

I have a antique rocking chair that is very dear to me. I have noticed that the chair CREAKS and CRACKLES every time you rock in it. Does anyone know of anything that can be done to make the noises stop?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}
