Someday in the future there will be a pill or a shot that you get and it will give you nano bots that go inside your body to repair damages from aging.

So sorry, I definitely look decades younger than I am,  and I have NEVER had any work done.

Perhaps it is very good genetics and healthy living?

I do not use a lot of "anti-aging" products, nor do I avoid the sun.

Seeing all the 30 somethings getting Botox makes me laugh, and feel a bit revolted.

Do not assume everyone is in the same situation.

Collagen production slows down in our late 20s and the best time to start Botox.as a preventive for wrinkles.

Botox weakens your facial muscles and there are long term side effects.  You do not want to have these injections at an early age.

Your skin could be permanently damaged.  And, Botox can be dangerous for some people.

I wouldn't do Botox. I even tried Plexiderm and returned it. All that tightening and loosening would make under eyes quickly go relaxed and baggy.

I use a little Retin, but I've never seen it accomplish anything.

I believe the best that has worked for me is the best cleansing and gentle exfoliating. All the rest serums etc., just help with a little hydrating.

Although you are not supposed to use, my mom for years has used a tiny bit of Vaseline massaged into her frown lines, and I have them, but I've never seen one wrinkle on hers.

I think it won’t be long and you’ll see less and less Botox and fillers being used on the face. Even Thermage used for tightening the skin Drs are finding the intense heat from the procedure is ruining the structure of the face and neck worse than normal aging would.

Another eye opener (no pun intended) was when I learned constant eye brow waxing ends up loosening the skin around the eyes. And as we know, our eyes often show the signs of aging first.

I have some anti aging serums but reality is, you CANNOT defy gravity.

@monicakm

Oh yes, the sun can make your hands look extremely old. When my mom was a young girl she worked in rice paddies all day long. Hard to wear sun protection on the hands in that kind of work. Her hands looked like they belonged to a 100yo woman. She used to hide her hands, I remember, and say how old they looked.The rest of her though , not so. She looked so young really.
