The highest temp I saw at my house yesterday was 104F.    I hate summer so much!   It didn't use to get that hot, this early, here.  The lows are in the 60s.   I'm so adverse to heat that the 60s are hot to me.   I'll just cry myself a river now, as I wait for winter.  Smiley Very Happy

It may be 108 in Phoenix but at least we don't have humidity.

It was 116 degrees  yesterday in Renton WA.. just outside of Seattle yesterday...Woman Tongue

overnight a marine front pushed in off the coast... like air conditioning... and this morning it was 65 degrees.  It will be  in the  90's today... but still cooler than 116!

We are lucky to have purchased a heat pump a couple of years ago, so our house was a cool 71 degrees inside... but. most of my neighbors were not so fortunate and they cooked. My one neighbor said her house was at 90 degrees inside yesterday when I offered her to come over to my house to stay to cool off... she did not take me up on the offer probably because she did not want to  bother me... but I sure wish she had! I had many a hot day and night in my home before having the heat pump put in.   I know how awful it is to not be able to cool off.....

I love it!  I stay out of the sun unless I'm in the water.  I can handle it.

I do feel bad for people who have to work in the heat and full sun.  That I could not do.

But I can't stand cold--even if I'm bundled up!

It's 97 here now. Hot and humid and suffocating. Went out, filled the bird feeder and couldn't get back in fast enough. Will not be going outdoors anymore today.

We are to have one more day of this horrid heat/humidity.

I took a cold shower and shouldn't have bothered to dry off.  I was sweating again in 10 minutes.

I have been thinking of moving for quite awhile but not sure where I want to go. There does not seem to be any consistantly moderate weather anywhere. Well, Hawaii, but I don't fly. Then you have those pesky volcanos and tsunamis. lol
