The last time I washed my SUV, I used the Bio Cleaner on the roof of the SUV. I park under trees and sap and other stuff builds up on the roof of the SUV and sometimes it is difficult to get all of it off. I just noticed when looking out from upstairs that the roof has stayed clean looking since using the Bio Cleaner on it. Just an FYI.

@hoosieroriginal, intersting you mention that....I have some of that cleaner and told my husband that he needs to clean the front (well the entire car!) of his car, bug stuff is everywhere....wonder if that will work on the bugs!?

@Mom2Dogs - I think it would. It was a pretty thick buildup on my roof (as it is difficult for me to get up there to clean it). I was really impressed with the results.

Way back in the day, I was always very careful about a paint job. Always washing and waxing but now the paint is better and the clear coat is amazing. I still like to wax but even that is better & easier these days.
I don't know anything about the bio cleaner, I'm so cautious about what I put on my vehicle. You don't think it will harm the clear coat?
The bio cleaner may be similar to products used by detail shops.
If your results are that good and there's no harm to the paint finish, I may need some of that stuff!

@software - I wouldn't guarantee it wouldn't hurt a clear coat - my car is old (2003) and I needed to get the dirt and sap that had built up on the roof of the car. Course, I do use it on my glass top stove and bathtub. I would check with manufacturer if it can be used on clear coated cars.

And in your defense, the sap was doing terrible damage on its own, it had to come off.
