Read on google news yesterday that they are saying if ups strikes, there could be a supply chain mess like during Covid Let’s hope not!

I would imagine there are many people right now rushing to place orders ahead of the possible strike in hopes to avoid delays. I'm ordering my Chewy dog stuff early just in case.

I haven't seen much about the UPS strike lately. Hope it will be averted. I don't plan on panic-buying anything. The only thing I can't run out of is my meds, and I can't stockpile those anyway.

UPS has 500,000 employees worldwide, delivers 24M packages per day and has 125,000 ground vehicles ahd more than 500 aiircraft.

Who is going to pick up that slack? 😳

In my area they use Fedex to ship. I suppose an overload with them picking up the slack from UPS could be an issue, but I also wonder if contracts with existing vendors will get some kind of prioirty.
