Another reason I hate Facebook

I broke down and left a positive comment on the page of my favorite author about his new book. Now today in my email I find links to three more comments from other people that wrote today. Is there anyway to turn this feed off?

By the way, the book is Misery Bay by Steve Hamilton, a mystery. Great writer, this is a series about an ex cop that now lives in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
