Re: Another really stupid review

I used to find her infuriating but now I feel badly for her. Surely, some of the things posted about her must hurt her feelings. Can anyone imagine constantly posting negativity and getting it thrown back at you? It just adds to the negativity she puts out there and probably makes her worse.

I guess that is why the saying....we get back what we give in life is so true.{#emotions_dlg.sad}

I'll offer up another possibility, some people aren't as negative and thoughtless and clueless as they pretend. They are looking for attention and/or just stirring the pot while they sit back and laugh. Either way, not a healthy mind.

I don't know because she posted that she has many posters on ignore. If she really wanted to stir the pot and loved sitting back laughing while reading the posts......why would she not want to read ALL the posts and have nobody on ignore? {#emotions_dlg.blink}

mominohio, I would tend to agree with your post. I've been told I'm on ignore, and I don't care. However, I recall a thread in the Among Friends forum with regard to either Mother's Day or Father's Day (can remember which one). A poster (I won't name her here) mentioned how she missed her mom/dad and was reaching out for support. Every poster supported her with the exception of the OP of this thread who told her to basically "get over it" and move on with your life. She was downright nasty and hurtful; there was no reason to post such nastiness to someone who was grieving their mom/dad on that particular day of the year.

Then she has the audacity to talk about the 'mean girls' when she feels she is being picked on. You can't have it both ways. IMO, she loves the attention, whether negative or not and loves stirring the pot so to speak.

More likely BIG HAND.

My favorite episode of The Jerry Seinfeld show...man hands...must be the reviewer:

Yes. What was the item number?

Probably won't happen. She's posted about 'stupid' reviews before and won't post items #'s.

Ah...have missed those.

Oh she loves it and thrives on it or she wouldn't keep posting such things. There ARE those you know! We often give her exactly what she is looking for: a good fight. Then comes the "poor me" thingie.

HisElk, you've got HH (and her m.o.) pegged perfectly with your post. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1} For Newbies to HH and her topics/posts --

The fact that she started this 'stupid' thread, ignored several posters' questions about the item # , and came back with a 'stupid' answer to one of the posters...speaks volumes about her. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Why, when Q asks for reviews and opinions, and someone shares just that, do others feel the need to criticize?

I know that if the opening of a purse isn't just right, both length and width, I can't stand it. So perhaps this was the problem. Maybe it was long enough, but not wide enough or vice a versa. Perhaps it was one that won't stay open and kind of closes up if you don't use two hands to keep the opening wide enough to get things in and out.

Whatever the case, I would take note of and appreciate a review like that, and watch the presentation closely to try to determine if the opening or the bag staying open was a problem. I would find it helpful that someone had some issue with the size of the opening, as that is a concern for me. Others might not, and could scroll on by.

Another stupid post.

mominohio,

I couldn't agree with you more. Thank you for explaining things: it allows one to "get a visual." Perhaps the OP will back up on this one. She lam-basted me on what should have been a non-confrontational thread - asked a professional question. It was obvious she did not read the entire post. I'll stop here.

Another thing that has occurred to me regarding the possibility of this handbag is the retro looks that we're seeing, specifically those handbags that when viewed from the side have a triangular profile. With this profile, it's going to be a challenge for some, even with an extended zipper. As I recall, my mother and grandmother had handbags like these, but none of them had zippers: they all had clasps and the leather at the top and sides was finished off with goldtone metal framing with a rivet hinge on each side. This framing with hinge allowed for a nice wide-mouth opening.

Also, I have a rather large Coach bag with a zipper across the top. I don't have any problems accessing items in this purse because the leather is superior and is supple: when the zipper is in the open position, the bag gapes open due to the quality of the leather. If the leather were stiff, this would not occur.

Just my 2 cents.
