I believe soda etc. was free with buffet. Alcohol was always billed. Sure you can pay at the bar if you want to. Most just add it to their room. The cruises I've been on did not accept any cash payment for anything including drinks at the bar, you have a card that everything gets charged to and pay at the end of the cruise.
Yep. And if you're not paying close attention that bill wil go sky high.

It could be called the CRUISE TO ETERNITY..... that way the jumpers would not ruin other passengers vacations. People who chose suicide are so selfish and think only about themselves. I have no pity for them. They leave behind a mess of hurt and pain.... it does not clear things up. It really leaves a lingering hurt for those affected by the death. I know this from personal reasons....
Your degree of empathy truly overwhelms!
Yes suicide leaves tremendous pain and suffering behind; not only are the survivors dealing with the pain of loss, but, also, the guilt of wondering if there something they could have seen or done, to help.
However, since our will to survive is the strongest drive we have, can you not imagine the depth of pain and despair that it takes, to end your own life?
If people who take their own lives were in a place where they could sit down and calmly and logically process their pain and their consequences of their actions, I doubt we would have any suicides.
I can't imagine being in such despair that I had no hope.

Your response is incredibly sensitive, compassionate and accurate, SUHSE39.
There's a widespread lack of understanding of the complexities of suicide -- I wish that weren't so.

I submit the following as evidence: Tall guy in photo isn't going to accidentally fall off a ship.

It can that's why navy sailors are taught a certain way to dive........assuming you survive the jump, you need to be able to swim or doggie paddle and be prepared to do so for hours if you want to live.
