I solved that problem, as well as closing the gap on the sides, by using one of these:
Not to sound dumb or anything, @Marp, but what are those and where can you buy them. I am having a looseness problem. :-)

I mainly use the disposable ones also. I just tie a knot on each end of the elastic and it seems to do the trick for me.

Do you pinch the bar at the top to adjust if to your nose? Also the elast the goes over your has loop that allows to adjust the mask for a custom fit. And the accordian pleat is also there to let you adjust the mask in the chin area. Some people just take them out of the box and don't even realize they can be adjusted.
I do.

@suzyQ3, they are ornament hooks and are available at Amazon and likely the Christmas department of local stores. The ones that I have and find to be a perfect size are 1.6 inches in length.
A word of caution though, get more than one because they are easy to misplace.
On Amazon search for s shaped ornament hooks.

@goldensrbest, they are S shaped ornament hooks and I simply attach an end to each ear loop.
See post #16.

This is the mask I wear, the cone shaped front of the KN95 allows for breathing quite comfortably. I even go on the treadmill for 20+ minutes at a time! There's a metal part over the nose that helps with a secure fit.

I bought a pack of adhesive nose pieces from Amazon. They work well but need to be replaced after each day ( they're only 1-2 cents each). I also sometimes use silicon extenders if I need to wear them hours at a time. These items are readily available on Amazon.
