I'm hoping that it goes out to sea, my yard is finally free of snow, I'm tired of it.

Was supposed to fly out of Washington DC Monday night - the night a nasty wintry mix is to hit. Friends and I are scheduled to leave on a cruise leaving FL on Tuesday. All four of us got on the phones and called the airline to see what they could do to help us as far as changing the tickets to fly out Sunday. Three of us got the "the database has to show that the ability is there to do so for it to be no cost" but the fourth got an agent that must really have been angry with the job that day cuz he said, "hey, its a sure thing presently on the radar, so I'm changing all 4 tix, no charge". In his words, it's all so stupid - he could change them now or change them later and it didn't matter to him.

So, I'm on a plane getting out of dodge tomorrow night - it's supposed to be close to 60 degrees tomorrow, then the temps are supposed to plummet 30+ degrees and snow/sleet/ice hit. I'm so done with winter - - - may spring meet us two weeks from now when we return.

I still have a foot on the ground leftover.

Another foot coming Monday.

And the Phila weather man just said the long range forecasts show snow up to and including April 1st.

Shorty they changed ours from 11.9 inches to 3 to 5 inches southwest pa. What kills me is for 3 days they have scared the heck out of everyone that today you couldn't get any where on the roads because everyone was out trying to get what ever to live for the next few days then tonight they change the whole forecast. Everyone cancelling every thing and now it is a regular snow event for our area.

Just north of New York City they have downgraded the storm big time. We will get only a few inches.

We're about 100 miles inland in upstate NY. Our original forecast was for 8 inches, but this AM they say the storm is tracking out to sea so we'll probably only see 1-3. I can live with that. Sounds like Long Island and New England will get the worst of it.
