Preliminary reports of another foot (or more) of snow coming Sunday into all day and night Monday in PA. Ok now I've had enough!

It's March, my grandkids and husbands birthdays all within the next 2 weeks and we want to celebrate!

There's no where to park here now when people visit, even though we have 1 car driveways and 1 car garages because our neighbors in the development seem to all have 5 cars for 2 to 3 people.

I have 2 friends who are headed to Florida and another couple heading to the islands, all on Saturday. Too bad I'm not one of them! {#emotions_dlg.lol}

Sounds like you and DH should take at least a two week vacation to Florida for his birthday. Then invite the grandkids down for theirs. Maybe it will warm up and melt away while you are gone.

Hi Shorty

I am feeling the pain too. (I am in the Philly burbs). I cannot wait for this winter to be over.

I don't have a driveway, so I have to park in the street, usually right in front of my house. Like you, I have some neighbors who have 4-5 cars, and since they cannot drive them all at the same time, they take up most of the parking. My street is also a "snow emergency route" so when there is 2 or more inches of snow, parking is restricted to my side of the street only. So everyone across the street from my house parks on my side (not being critical of them, they have no where to go).

So I have to get my butt up early early early tomorrow, run all of my errands so that I can get home before noon and (hopefully) get a place to park on my block. My car will sit there the rest of Saturday and all of Sunday, cause if I move it I will surely not be able to find a place to park. (and of course it will sit Monday during the storm.)

Hope you make it through this one OK. You are right, Florida sounds so good right now.

No wont be going to Florida, lol.

I hear you Flyers. I used to live in the city with no driveway, which is also bad to park in then here during snow.

Ugh, we heard the same thing too here in our area of Pa. I had 2 doctor appointments this week for checkups and all they are talking about is how they are ready for spring.

This is the last thing that we need again as there just isn't enough room for more snow.

Wow Shorty, you guys have really had your share of lousy weather this season! We are getting all the cold weather here, but not as much snow in southern Wisconsin. I would gladly take the snow over this sub-zero stuff. BRRRRRR!! {#emotions_dlg.mad} Hope your snow melts soon, and you can enjoy family activities soon. Smile

I heard tonight the amount of snow Sunday & Monday has been downgraded! At least that's what Ch. 16 was saying. More snow south of I80 than north, perhaps 6 to 9 inches. Accu-Weather is still saying around a foot but earlier they said up to 18 inches. I'm beginning to think we'll bypass spring and go directly to summer and that does not make me happy!!! This has been a wild winter weatherwise. So get your snow blower and snow shovels ready ... again. Stay safe and warm.
