Felt in Santa Barbara, pool sloshing grandfather clock pendulim banging chandeliers swaying. Lasted quite a while. Cats went crazy.

Here in LA I felt a rolling wave motion and it lasted a long time. Longer than the first, when I was shopping in IKEA! Lucky to only feel it - no damage.

@halfpint1    One of my nieces lives in LA.   I am so worried about her.  But she sent me two text messages ...... one after each earthquake.  Luckily she is fine and did't even feel either quake.

@Boehm Collector, there is probably no need to worry. Lucy Jones, the earthquake expert, said it is highly unlikely that this Ridgecrest situation will have any effect on potential quakes in L.A.

We in L.A. and its surroundings can feel these quakes, but they are not very strong here.
