If I were going to meet somebody to buy/sell something from Craigslist, I'd meet them right in front of my local police station. In the day time.

What happened to this wonderful couple is just devastating. I'm so sorry for their family

I do business all the time on Craigslist... so do my friends. And if someone ever asked to meet in a PD parking lot I'd be more than happy to and your friend is exactly right... there's no reason for anyone to say no.

We've never had an issue on there either and we've been using it for years. But no, it's not for everyone and yea, you gotta be safe.

I sold 2 things on craigs list. Both times I met the buyers in a very public place. Both times the people were very nice and all was fine.
