I eat a huge amt of dishes using various beans, many from dry, some from cans.

I, like @shoekitty  carefully pick over my dry beans before cooking. 

    Those rocks, that do indeed sneak in, can raise expensive havoc, esp on a mouth full of teeth, expensive filings, Root Canals & Crowns, let alone, trying to work their way thru the Digestive System!

I can see, esp see some machine, or even people, missing rocks in their beans.  Does happen. 

Eat, & chew gingerly & carefully.

Seems like TJoe's is having quite a bit of things recalled. I don't shop there much anyway, but I think I will just stop going there now. They never seem to have much I am interested in.
