This is ten minutes from my dad and sister, 3 minutes from my brother in law.  

Allegedly shooter is known to law enforcement (per wbal tv)

I graduated high school in '77. In my four years on the high school campus there were pickup trucks with gun racks and rifles on those gun racks in nearly every truck... and they were a lot of trucks.  There was not one single incident involving a rifle or a pistol.  My how times have changed 😕

@monicakm Same at my HS! Any fights were fist fights, and generally quickly broken up by teachers.

A 16-year-old student allegedly shot and killed a 15-year-old boy during an "altercation" in the boys' bathroom at Joppatowne High School.

It appears one shot was fired in the incident, the sheriff said, noting that the gun has not been recovered.

Authorities don't know what the apparent argument was about, the sheriff said.

The suspect is known to law enforcement and police have previously responded to calls for service involving the teen, authorities said.

"We've had more than 10 incidents since 2022 where this suspect was either the victim, witness or suspect" in an incident handled by the sheriff's office, Harford County Sheriff Jeff Gahler said.

But.. But.. But... (at a minimum),  Think of all the money each locality saved by skipping putting Mags (Metal Detectors),  *WITH* Active Armed, Watchful Eye Moniters hovering over these Mags at entrances/exits in schools. 

Afterall, it's only been 25 years since one of the most notorious School Shooting Massacres  (Columbine HS).

   Maybe we need another *25 yrs+++* more yrs?

  Maybe need more youth, babies & teachers killed?

   (Seems the espoused mantra "Good Guys with Guns" isnt working, eh?)
